If you’ve been watching the market, you’ve probably noticed it’s a mixed bag: some homes sell in a weekend, while others linger for weeks with little activity. Naturally, that might leave you wondering—what should you expect when it’s your turn to sell?
Let’s break it down with some real talk and smart strategy...
While it’s true that homes aren’t moving quite as fast as they did during the peak pandemic years, they’re still selling faster than pre-2020 norms. According to Realtor.com, the typical home spent 50 days on the market this April. That’s slightly slower than last year, but still significantly faster than before the pandemic boom.

In other words, don’t stress if your home doesn’t sell overnight. The market’s doing its thing, it’s just more balanced now, and that gives you a bit of breathing room to plan your next move, too.
So You Asked Why Do Some Homes Sell Instantly?
It usually comes down to three things: pricing, presentation, and positioning. Here's how to set your home up for success:
💡 What I recommend: We’ll take a close look at the most recent comparable sales in your neighborhood and price your home strategically from day one. When priced correctly, your home gets attention and offers.
💡 What to do: Tidy up the landscaping, declutter inside, touch up paint, and let’s talk about a few simple updates that deliver big impact. First impressions count.
💡 How I help: My listings feature professional photography, compelling descriptions, and a strong digital presence across top real estate platforms and social media. I position your home to shine in front of the right buyers.
Now, lets be clear about one thing, real estate is .. "hyperlocal". So some areas will still move faster than others, and the same is goes for property types, condos versus single family homes, for sure.
Call me, send a message, or let’s grab a coffee, your next move starts with a smart conversation.
